Store Policies

Wholesale only. SALES TAX: Any plants picked up at the nursery or shipped within Florida will have an added 7.5% sales tax unless the purchaser provides the required sales tax exemption certificate for our files.

 BAREROOT LINER AVAILABILITY: Orders are taken subject to availability estimates from growing-bed inventories.  We try very hard to avoid over-booking; however, for various reasons, growing-bed inventories may not be accurate.  Orders are shipped by requested dates, i. e., on a first-come-first served" basis.  Customers waiting until March for shipping may not receive the full amount ordered if growing-bed inventories prove to be inaccurate.  In such case, there will be a deposit refund to the extent of the shortage. 

SHIPMENT BAREROOT LINERS:
  We ship freshly dug liners.  Bareroot liners are shipped November-March.  Shipping date must be set up by the customer. Liners can be picked up at the nursery after an appointment has been made.  Most liner shipments are made via UPS.  If you have a large order, we can arrange truck delivery to defray shipping costs.  UPS shipping charges will be composed of actual UPS charges plus $6.00 per box  for special packing/handling.  UPS shipments are sent out Monday-Wednesday during shipping season.

PAYMENT CONTAINERIZED PLANTS: Payment is expected at time of pick-up or shipment; however, net 30 day terms are available for established accounts.  We will accept purchase orders from most recognized institutions. Finance charges will be added to overdue accounts.  Containerized plants may be reserved for 45 days with a 25% non-refundable deposit. 

CONTAINERIZED PLANT DELIVERY:  Plants may be picked up at the nursery by appointment. Plant delivered are made by local contractors or semi-freight companies.  Generally delivery costs are 15-18% with a $150.00 drop minimum.  We can ship anywhere in the USA, but our regular weekly routes are to:  Panhandle Florida, Atlanta area, Coastal South Carolina. 

Orders may be subject to circumstances and conditions beyond the control of Superior Trees, Inc. A plant shortage from any cause shall require Superior Trees, Inc. to refund that portion of the deposit represented by the shortage.  ALL CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF PLANTS.  Superior Trees, Inc. will make all efforts to correct any mistake made by its personnel, but under no circumstances will Superior Trees, Inc. be responsible for more than the purchase price of the plants.
